Cara's Cabin is an authentic log cabin built in the 1800’s and is part of the Ephraim Historical Foundation. It is the coziest log cabin in all of Ephraim with tons of old and new features. Nestled up against 26 acres of walking trails of the Door County Land Trust! Perfect for a romantic couple's getaway, a solo trip, or any vacation with 4 people or less!

This authentic 1800’s original log cabin features an outstanding new custom interior - built with Ephraim's Norwegian history in mind. Offering an open concept with a queen bed, a futon, a small but fully-equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, and your own private balcony overlooking the nature preserve. Enjoy a bonfire with your own firepit and relax under the stars. Crack open your favorite bottle of Door County wine on the outdoor patio table or play a game of cribbage. 

The Door County Land Trust is right in our backyard. Hike, walk your dog, snow shoe, cross county ski, bird watch, and enjoy the scenery! We have also provided bikes and kayaks for you and your company to enjoy! All free to use during your stay.

LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: The cabin is open-concept studio style featuring a queen bed and a full-size futon couch - absolutely perfect for 2 guests but can sleep up to 4. We have a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, back deck overlooking the woods, and a propane fireplace for your comfort.

LOCATION: Cara's Cabin is located on the same property as Chatham Hills, another vacation rental property. While you have your own private entrance, driveway, and parking, you will be near another property. The cabin is easily accessible to everything Ephraim Village has to offer. A one minute drive or 10 minute walk to downtown!

Pet fee is $35/day per dog

WiFi can be spotty!

Cleaning dishes, pots, utensils as well as the grills used during your stay is responsibility of guests. Our cleaners and the cleaning fee is NOT to clean those items.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
